The NZ Super Fund has been awarded the Sovereign Wealth Fund prize at the 2018 AsianInvestor Institutional Excellence Awards in Singapore.

The editorial team at AsianInvestor noted the NZ Super Fund’s “longstanding outperformance on its investment portfolio, including its ongoing efforts to ensure strong asset diversity and take a measured approach to long-term risks, in accordance with its lengthy investment horizon.

“We particularly noted NZ Super’s fluid shift in leadership and the lack of difficulty that this created, pointing to a strong level of internal governance and unified investing vision. These qualities were also highlighted to us by senior consultants and investment professionals.”
